-In 2005, KAAD was successful in having adult day health care providers granted the ability to do client case management. This allowed individual centers to do and bill Medicaid for case management of clients.
-In 2006, KAAD was successful in lobbying for a 10% rate increase for all units of adult day health care provided. It had been ten years since Medicaid has issued the last rate increase.
-In July of 2007 KAAD successfully lobbied for a change from 3 hour Medicaid billing units to 15 minute units increments. This simple change has resulted in increased unit flexibility for clients.
