The KAAD Conference was an absolute blast. There was great turnout and some very interesting speakers. You can see by the pictures below that a good time was had by all at this years western themed event.

As you can see the 2008 Conference had a Western theme and was decorated accordingly. The top left picture shows the podium. The top right picture shows just a few of the many beautiful raffle gifts that were won by conference attendees. The picture on the left shows the performance area for Thursday night’s festivities. |

KAAD President Reva Williams turned over the association presidency to Melinda Burchett at the Board Meeting held during the conference. Ms. Burchett presented Ms. Williams with a plaque that commemorated her service to KAAD. |

Here you see Ranger Ron getting ready to fire a shot to signify the start of the race! Those stick horses were rarin’ to go!! It ended up being a draw! Congrats to you both! |

The pictures directly above and to the left show Ranger Ron singing some cowboy songs fitting with the theme during Thursday’s dinner and activities. In the picture to the left, Ranger Ron is singing a Willie Nelson song that would not have been complete without the signature hair. Thanks Ranger Ron, you did a great job!! |
